Mechanical conveying systems in plant engineering
Ingtec develops and implements plants for bulk solids handling. Depending on the plant task, mechanical conveying systems are combined with silo installations, processing plants, and filling and emptying systems.
The scope of supply includes:
- Belt conveyors
- Bucket elevators
- Screw conveyors
- Trough and tubular chain conveyors
- Vibratory conveyors
Integration into the material flow
At big bag unloading stations, screws or vibratory troughs can convey the product to the point of use if the station cannot be installed directly at that location. For longer conveying distances, a pneumatic conveying system can be connected to the collection hopper.
In plants for wood chips and wood products, conveying can be mechanical using a vertical screw conveyor or pneumatic using dilute-phase conveying, depending on the distance. Both conveying principles can also be used to fill the silos.
