Dosing from big bag unloading stations
If the entire contents of a big bag are not required at once, a measured quantity can be fed into the process using loss-in-weight measurement. For this purpose, the big bag unloading station can be mounted on load cells and equipped with a dosing system such as a dosing screw or rotary valve.

Vacuum scales in pneumatic conveying systems
If a product must be weighed for formulations, the receiving vessel of a pneumatic conveying system can be designed as a vacuum scale.
